Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades
Depart from your hotel at 7:30 AM and travel through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for lunch and explore the iconic Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Ouarzazate for a visit to the famous film studios. Then, head towards Boumalne Dades, where you will either visit the Dades Gorges the same evening or the next morning. Spend the night in a traditional Kasbah hotel.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Tinghir – Merzouga
After breakfast, depart at 8:30 AM towards Tinghir to explore the Todra Gorges, a stunning natural wonder. Continue towards Alnif, a small village where you will have lunch. The journey then takes you to Rissani, where you will stop for a brief visit to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty. Arrive in Merzouga, where you will ride camels to witness a magical sunset over the dunes before reaching the desert bivouac. Enjoy a traditional dinner, a campfire show, and an evening of Berber music under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Marrakech
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, start the return journey, passing through the ancient Khettaras irrigation system, followed by a stop in Erfoud to explore the date market. Continue towards Tinghir, where you will have lunch in Tinejdad. Finally, drive directly back to Marrakech, concluding your incredible desert adventure.
